Meet 30-Weeks Pregnant Mum With a SIX-PACK on Her Bump

30-weeks pregnant Stacie Venagro is a three-time World Miss Fitness America Pro with several other fitness competition titles under her belt, and thanks to her rigourous workout routine in spite of her pregnancy, she still has incredible ab muscles over her baby bump.

In an interview with Mom.me, the 31-year-old who is in her third trimester, insisted that her doctor says she’s perfectly healthy.

She said he told her that she could continue to lift weights, as long as she wasn’t straining. The doctor also said that she should add an extra 200 calories a day, which she does with healthy additions to her regular meals.

She said, ‘I wanted to make sure they were clean calories, I take in either a bigger breakfast or lunch and a smaller dinner. My husband thinks I need to eat more. He’ll bring me home dark chocolate or peanut butter balls and say, “You can eat it, you can afford it.” And I can, and I do, but I do it in moderation,’ she added, explaining that sometimes she has chocolate mousse or a cookie.

She first started to see a change in her body at 20 weeks (most women start to show at 12 to 16 weeks), when she saw her stomach coming out a bit and realized her jeans didn’t fit as well.

By 25 weeks, some workouts were getting harder, like yoga, and she eventually had to adjust her core workouts so she wasn’t doing them on her back.

At 28 weeks, something had happened to her body that never had before. She shared a picture on Instagram with the caption: ‘I’ve got a “booty-do” – it’s where my belly sticks out more than my booty do!’

Through all of this, her doctor continues to say that she is healthy and measuring where she should be. Her baby is doing well.

‘Listening to the doctors and making sure you are on track is all you need,’ she said.  ‘Don’t let someone else’s negativity ruin your day or even stress you out during your own pregnancy. One person may gain 15 pounds and the next may gain 100 pounds; everyone is different. You can only compare yourself to who you were yesterday.’

What do you think?
