Nigerian Woman Welcomes Triplets in a Special Way After 6 Years of Marriage
A Nigerian woman, Temitope Alao, 34, who conceived after 6 years of trying, travelled to Brooklyn to welcome her miracle triplets, a girl, Temiloluwa, and two boys, Oluwafikayomi and Ifeoluwa, in a special family way.
According to NYDailyNews, in the delivery room was Afolake Alao, 58, a longtime registered nurse at Woodhull Medical Center, who helped deliver the premature babies.
Afolake said she insisted that her daughter-in-law come to the United States for the delivery.
Temitope made the trip with her mother, Adejoke Ogunrinde, on Jan. 21.
The excited new mum who said she’s not intimidated by the thought of caring for three infants at once added that she cannot wait to introduce the babies to their dad for the first time.
“We are trying to get him here to see the babies,” she said.
