13 Year Old Student In Texas Impregnates 24 Year Old Teacher

A 24-year-old school teacher has landed in trouble for having sex with a 13-year-old student in her class and getting pregnant for him.

ABC 13 reports that the 24-year-old teacher, Alexandria Vera was an English teacher at Aldine ISD’s Stovall Middle School.

According to court documents, Vera met a 13-year-old boy who was a student in her 8th grade English class during summer school in which a sexual relationship reportedly developed between the two.

Court documents also stated that Vera claims she and the teen are in love, and she’s been introduced to his family as his girlfriend. The boy’s parents are reportedly accepting of the relationship, including Vera in family gatherings.

Vera also said the teen was a student in her English 8th grade class and that the romance started over social media after they met in her summer class.

The middle school teacher explains that the then-13-year-old first contacted her via Instagram, and their relationship grew from there and people seemed to notice. She said he missed a class one day so she sent him a message asking him why he missed class and that was when he asked for her number.

She recounted one time she went to his house for school and he invited her in and introduced her to his parents as his girlfriend and his parents accepted her, adding that the first time they had sex was sometime in September of last year when she dropped him off at home and his parents were not at home.

Court documents go on to detail the fact that Vera allegedly became pregnant with the boy’s baby in January, and his family was said to be excited and supportive about the baby.

But after an unexpected visit to the school by Child Protective Services in February, when Vera and the boy were questioned about their relationship, she reportedly became nervous and terminated the pregnancy.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for Aldine ISD issued the following statement:

“Aldine ISD has been made aware that charges have been filed against a former Stovall Middle School teacher involved in inappropriate behavior with a male student. When the allegation was made in April, the teacher was immediately removed from the school and placed on administrative leave.

”Aldine ISD Police investigated the incident and turned their findings over to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. The safety and security of Aldine ISD’s students and staff remain a priority of the school district.”

Vera is charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child. She turned herself in on Wednesday to officers at Montgomery County Jail in Conroe, Texas, after police issued a warrant for her arrest.

Vera’s bond was set at $100,000. She has met the bail condition and has been released.
