Unbelievable! Woman Divorces Paralysed Hubby and Marries His Best Friend

A Chinese woman has done the unbelievable as she dissolved her marriage with her husband and then married his best friend so they could both take care of him better.

Sun News gathers that Xie Xiping and her paralysed hubby Xu Xihan from the Chinese city of Ankang, in China, got married in 1996, and had a daughter the very next year.

Their marriage was a blissful one, and a few years later Xiping gave birth to her second child, a baby boy, who brought them more joy.

However, tragedy struck in 2002, when Xu was involved in a mining accident which left him paralysed from the waist down.

He was given 40,000 yuan ($6,000) in compensation, but lost his ability to walk, forever.

Xu was under no illusions when the couple’s neighbours told him they suspected his wife would leave him after a few months when it all became too much.

He recalled: “When the accident happened, I realised that I had no feeling left in my legs, and my first thought was that my family life would totally collapse.”

But Xiping proved them all wrong, as years went by and she and the kids remained by his side.

Meanwhile, Xu wanted his wife to be happy and started pressuring her into divorcing him and finding another man who could take care of her properly.

The woman wouldn’t hear of it, though, and kept refusing his request for years.

 

Later on, she took her husband’s advice and the couple divorced in 2009. She then married his colleague and best friend, Liu Zongkui.

In 2012, she gave birth to Zonkui’s son, but she never abandoned her ex-husband. Instead, she and Liu began caring for her ex and the kids together.

Now, the family all happily lives together under one roof.
