Yoga Mom, Kokobie, Shares Her Birth Story and Why She Took Up Yoga
Kokobie, the heavily pregnant Yoga mom whose photos went viral, welcomed a healthy baby boy on the 21st of June, 2016, and she took to her Instagram page to announce the good news.
She shared a very interesting and inspiring story about how she went into labor and gave birth to her fourth child and also why she started doing Yoga.
Read below…
”I always wanted an epidural free #labor with all of my 4 babies but towards the end I would give in and get one. Why suffer when I didn’t have to. Every time I got one, I judge myself for not being stronger. After all, I was designed for it and I considered myself a strong woman.
”Baby #4 I finally did it. Since I had baby number three I had started yoga, meditation and working out. That finally gave me the confidence and the strength to trust my body and get in the zone. I was in a meditative state until it was time to get on the bed to tilt the baby into a better position. Being on the bed totally threw me off my game and I just couldn’t get back into it and I panicked.
”After 4 crazy contractions, my wonderful midwife, and a friend gave me some gas which didn’t really do much. 4 contractions later it was go time at this point things moved so fast that one of my midwives didn’t even make it. It was just the 2 of us. My hubby at home with the kids there was no one there to take pics.
”My hubby at home with the kids there was no one there to take pics. ? After pushing only 5 times Ilya was born. Healthy and strong 9.12lbs of L?VE. 2 hours later we were home.
”This was the fist time I got a midwife and it was the best experience ever. Even though it was a #hospitalbirth It felt homie and comfortable. I had the perfect space to get in my zone.
”I just want to say #thankyou to all of you for taking the time to wish us well and send us good vibes. Much appreciated!
”I wish I could respond to each and every one of your comments but as you all know I got my hands full. Much L?VE! ?? #babynumber4 #babyboy #newborn#birthstory #mother #mom #hospitalbirth

Then we in Nigeria that deliver without epidural are extra super. Anyway, it’s good for us because the pains scare women away if not 10 kids will be the least in most homes
