Shocking! 60-Year-Old Landlord Defiles 6-Year-Old Girl In Ogun State

A 60-year-old man, identified as Mayegun Alani, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly defiling a six-year-old girl.

According to Punch, both the suspect and victim reside on Mayegun Street, Sango, in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state.

While confirming the arrest, the Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said the arrest of the suspect, who confessed to the police that he had been raping the minor for a month before he he was caught, was made possible by the victim’s mother who reported him to the police.

He said, “The police were informed by the mother of the victim, who noticed something strange about the girl whenever she was taking her bath

“The mother asked the little girl some questions which gave a clue that the landlord was responsible for her defilement.”

Continuing, he stated, “The suspect was arrested by the police immediately. Initially, he denied the allegation, but later confessed that he had been sleeping with the girl for at least a month. Medical reports also confirmed that the girl has been defiled.”

Adejobi added that the Assistant Inspector -General of Police in charge of Zone 2, Abdulmajid Ali, had ordered the transfer of the case to the Department of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence of the command for investigation, Punch reports.
