7 Foods That Stimulate Lovemaking Desire in Women

Is your appetite for intimacy with your spouse taking a nosedive and you’re at a loss about what to do? Research shows a lot of women experience this at some point, especially as they age. While a lot of factors including stress, financial or emotional worries, and so on, may be responsible and you should troubleshoot to discover and resolve any possible underlying cause(s), here are top foods you should eat to help boost your declining libido…

1. Chocolates

These contain the amino acid phenylalanine, which increases the body’s feel good hormones and triggers the release of dopamine in the brain. A surge in the latter fosters orgasm during lovemaking in both men and women.

A study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine also found that women who enjoyed a piece of chocolate every day had a more active sex life than those who didn’t. Opt for the dark variety.

2. Chili peppers

Capsaicin contained in chili peppers triggers abundant release of endorphins (feel good hormones) which gets you in the mood and boosts sensations of pleasure while at it, making you want more. Chilis and other spicy foods also increase your heart rate and stimulate nerve endings, so you’re on a natural high.
