Sad! 2 Year Old Boy Beaten To Death While Defending Mum From Her Abusive Lover

In the course of defending his mother from her abusive lover during a fight about groceries, a 2-year-old boy was beaten to death by the man.

According to Mirror, the toddler, identified as Jamil ‘JB’ Baskerville Jr was present when his mum’s 24-year-old boyfriend, Zachary Tricoche, started arguing with JB’s mum after he became upset because she had bought the ‘wrong’ groceries, a probable cause affidavit states.

Out of anger, the little boy ‘stepped in to intervene’ after Tricoche allegedly shoved the woman at a home in New Jersey, US. This enraged Tricoche, who punched the youngster so hard in the chest that he fell onto a wall and struck his head, prosecutors said.

Getting back up, Tricoche then allegedly told the boy to ‘put up his hands’ to fight like a grown man before punching him a second time.

The force of the punch caused the tot to hit his head against the wall once more, and left him with severe injuries to his organs and he tragically bled to death after his tiny liver was crushed, a medical examiner ruled.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene in Mansion Boulevard, Pennsauken, at around 11.30 pm after JB’s mum called 911.

Following the death of the boy on the night of August 20, Tricoche was arraigned on first-degree murder charges. He did not enter a plea and his bail was set at $1 million cash.
