It’s Officially Over! Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s Divorce Finalised| See Detail of Divorce Settlement
The divorce of celebrity couple, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has been officially finalised yesterday, after months of wrangling over the final terms of the break up.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE , the former couple will divide their assets and property. Heard will keep the dogs, Pistol and Boo, who were at the centre of scandal when she took them to Australia illegally in 2015.
Heard, 30, will also keep a horse named Arrow, as well as two vehicles, a 2015 Range Rover and a 1968 Ford Mustang.
Depp, 53, keeps all of his properties and real estate holdings across the globe, including Los Angeles, his home state of Kentucky, France and the Bahamas, where he retreated during his divorce.
In addition, there are 42 vehicles listed in documents that Depp will hang on to, including a variety of cars, motorcycles, boats and even golf carts.
The documents reveal that Depp has agreed to pay Heard $7m (£5.6m; €6.6m), which she says she will donate to two charities.
She had accused Depp of domestic abuse, a claim he denies. According to court documents, Heard stated that Depp had been physically abusive to her, (read here) culminating in him throwing a mobile phone at her face during a fight in February last year.
Depp’s lawyer denied the allegations, saying Heard was “attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse”. Police officers attending the scene said they had found no evidence of a crime, BBC gathered.
The estranged couple agreed to waive spousal support and each will pay his or her own attorney fees, with the exception of $500,000 Depp will contribute towards Heard’s.
Depp has two children from a previous relationship with French singer and model, Vanessa Paradis.
