“Twins for the first two years are very difficult” – Father of Twins Nick Cannon Advices Beyonce
American actor, rapper and host , Nick Cannon, 36, is certainly not new to multiple birth. The actor became father of twins after ex wife Mariah Carey, welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe on the 30th of April 2011.
You will recall that not long ago, singer Beyonce, took to social media to announce she was expecting twins. (read here) Now Cannon, is sharing his experience from raising twins with a form of advice to expectant mom ‘Queen bee’
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the America’s Got Talent host had these words of wisdom for Beyonce. He said:
“Beyoncé, twins for the first two years, very difficult,” Cannon, warned. After that, it’s like they operate themselves. They have each other, so you don’t have to worry about it.
When you have one kid, you want to make sure they have a playmate. Twins help each other”
Gushing about how strong the bond between Moroccan and Monroe is, Cannon admits it makes parenting them a lot easier adding that:
“My twins are so amazing. They make sure each other don’t get in trouble, they snitch on each other, he joked. I’m trying to enact the ‘stop snitching’ policy in my house. But if someone’s doing something wrong, even in school, they have each other, so it’s amazing.”
On another note, Cannon, who is expecting a baby boy with former Miss Arizona U.S.A. Brittany Bell, says he’s ready to be a dad to a newborn again.
“I don’t think that’s stressful because everybody is so elated about a new baby, it’s after the fact, he says of going back to the beginning of raising a child.
The terrible twos is when I go, I can’t take this no more. So I’m nervous about that, but the beginning part … you’re on a blissful high at that point.
Another little boy. I want a fighter,” my son, Roc, I made him a tough dude. I like tough. I like to box, we do martial arts.”
Also in a recent interview mom of twins Mariah Carey, recalling the last time she met Beyonce, had this to say:
“The last time I saw her, I was doing my Christmas show in New York and she came to my show and brought her daughter. It was really really sweet.
I just wish her and Jay all the best. It’s really hard having twins. I just mean in general, going through the physicality of having twins was really, really difficult for me. I had a tough time.”
