UPDATE: Kemi Olunloyo Back to Prison After Magistrate Court Grants her Bail
Earlier, we announced that controversial blogger, Kemi Omololu Olunloyo had regained her freedom (read here), but it seems she has been remanded in prison again.
For the second time in two weeks, the investigative journalist, who is known for reporting unconfirmed stories about celebrities, has been refused bail and remanded in Port Harcourt prison custody.
This time, according to Punch, it was the Federal High Court in Rivers State that denied the daughter of the former governor of Oyo State and remanded her in prison after a Magistrate Court had granted her bail.
Charges against the Port Harcourt-based publisher, Samuel Walson, were reportedly dropped.
Olunloyo and Walson were arrested over an alleged online defamatory publication against a Port Harcourt-based pastor, David Ibiyeomi (read here).
