Alleged Side Chick Opemititi Slams Mercy Aigbe & Linda Ikeji with N500 million Lawsuit for Defamation 

Opemititi Ajayi, the woman alleged to have broken Mercy Aigbe‘s marriage up, has slammed Mercy and Linda Ikeji with a N500 million defamation lawsuit.

The suit was filed by the law offices of Afolabi Fashanu & Co, on Opemititi’s behalf.

You will recall that in an interview with Broadway TV, Mercy claimed that her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry slept with Opemititi, a statement which the plaintiff says is unsubstantiated and fabricated.

Linda, on her part, exclusively broke the news on her blog that Opemititi a.k.a “queen stunner” was responsible for Mercy’s failed marriage (read here). She has been accused of dragging their client’s name in the mud without any backing evidence; an act of crime as codified in the cyber crime laws of Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Opemititi’s lawyers have demanded a retraction and public apologies from both Mercy and Linda, in the media, including their social  platforms, and also demanded a total sum of N500 million each from the duo, as damages.
