In a cover-story for US Weekly, sources reveal Prince William and Kate Middleton are making a conscious effort to make things as ‘normal’ as possible for their two children growing up under the public’s scrutiny, the media’s watchful eye, and among a family whose nominal assets are estimated at a whopping £22.8 billion.
A source tells the publication:
‘They’re very much seen as Mummy and Daddy’s toys, not for children . . . As two people who grew up without gadgets for entertainment themselves, William and Kate are firm believers in toys, outdoor play, and encouraging an active imagination. They’re very much a normal family,’ they added.
