Hilarious! Funke Akindele’s Pregnancy Cravings May Surprise You
Pregnancy is a different experience for every woman, but new and unusual food cravings seem to be the norm among moms-to-be. Cravings can (sort of, kind of) be explained by the fluctuations in hormones and metabolism that pregnant women experience, which can lead to new—and sometimes surprising—food choices.
Some weeks ago, we reported that the 40-year-old Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele who was spotted with baby bump while performing on stage at a GLO concert (read here), is expecting her first child with her husband JJC Skillz.
Well it seems the soon-to-be mother is already having pregnancy cravings, as she took to InstaLive to share a video of herself having both tea and juice, blaming it on her ‘yeye’ appetite.

The talented actress known for her selective dialect and her music industry businessman hubby, Abdulrasheed Bello, secretly tied the knot (read here) last year.
In an interview earlier this year, JJC, father of four from previous relationship, who is the Creator of Industreet TV Series, spoke on how one of his daughters convinced him to marry the award winning Nollywood producer.
”Well, before we got married in London, we all had a good relationship here in Nigeria. The kids were always seeing this beautiful woman around daddy, and she always makes him happy. They might be away and in different continents, but they are part of our daily activities.

”She is also very close to them, they met her digital first. They didn’t know she was an actress then, because in the UK, they hardly watch Nigerian movies, but they love her so much. They all love each other. It’s a perfect blend.
I remember my daughter telling me ‘Dad make sure you marry her. She’s a keeper’. And I did, I followed my daughter’s advice. One of my songs, Save The Last Dance’ was written for my wife, she really saved the last dance for me.”
Funke Akindele there is absolutely nothing ‘yeye’ about your cravings, it’s justified. Enjoy this moment as it’s a special time. And we look forward to having you grace the cover of Motherhood-In-Style n due time. All the best!
