VP’s Daughter, Kiki Osinbajo Speaks on Her Business & Inspiration: “My mum has a beautiful spirit”
Kiki Osinbajo, daughter of Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, is not only a young woman with a clear vision of what she wants to achieve, but also a determination on how to execute them.
The 24-year-old recently launched her company, Glam’d Africa Beauty House, a one-stop venue for all things beauty: clothing, accessories, skincare, hair products, makeup and a nail salon.
After graduating with a degree in Business Management from Aston University in 2016, Osinbajo returned to Nigeria from the UK because she couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.
She believes there are opportunities in Nigeria that can help Africa compete on a global platform, with its own stories and businesses.
In a recent chat with Guardianwoman, the young intellect revealed Mrs Dolapo Osinbanjo, her mum, was her greatest inspiration and that her mum’s beautiful spirit had made an impact in her life.

“My mother. She has a beautiful spirit that has made such an impact on me.
Besides her endless support, I’m still learning from her.
The level of patience she exudes and the way she seeks to understand people and different situations are beautiful characteristics to me.
They are also very useful traits to have in running a business.”
Kiki also revealed that she was passionate about the beauty industry. She stated how important it is, to explore the things that stir you to work hard, and was grateful for her supportive family.
On why she created Glam’d Africa, she said she wanted to create the beauty customer experience she had been craving for, as she had never been able to shop for all her beauty needs in one place.
