Paternity Dispute: Mr 2Kay Insists He Is The Father Of Gifty’s child, Alisha
Big Brother Naija season 2 housemate, Gifty Powers, took everyone by surprise yesterday when she revealed that she had a baby last year, and shared photos of her now 1-year-old daughter, Alisha, read here.
The mum of one did not disclose who the father of her child was, but a few hours after her revelation, popular singer Mr. 2kay shared a photo of himself with Alisha and wrote some sweet words to the effect that she is his child and looks just like her big brother.

In true Gifty style however, a controversy is brewing again as she posted a cryptic post insinuating that 2kay isn’t the father of her child.
What is clear is, Gifty and the singer were an item at some point, especially shortly after she left the Big Brother House last year, they took pictures in his apartment and appeared cosy together.
Not long after, rumor mills started to grind slowly that Gifty was pregnant, but she shut them down. It turns out that she was indeed pregnant and had a child in December of 2017.

The latest in the development about Gifty’s discreet journey to motherhood is that there appears to be a paternity tussle between Gifty who claims only a mother knows the real father of her child and Mr 2kay who insists Alisha is his.
