Tiwa Savage Has This To Say To Other Women Undermining Her Achievements
Knowing that some women go as far as bringing other down when they are thriving in their career is quite heartbreaking. A tweet by a Twitter user may have struck some chords in Tiwa Savage’s nerve and sparked a hive of reactions from the easy-going famous pop singer.
A few days after the celebration of the International Women’s Day in Nigeria, the mom of a cute son shared on Twitter, lamenting why women are not respected or valued in this part of the world.
In her tweet, she went ahead to address women who try to undermine her achievements rather than be inspired by them. According to her, she doesn’t wish them what they do to her but knows that someday they will realise they were wrong.
“Kai women are not respected or valued in this country at all.
“For all the women trying to undermine my achievements I don’t pray the same for you. One day you will realize it should inspire you and not make you hate,” the singer writes.
After her post on the plight of women living in her country, most of her fans seem to support her position on shunning negativity and embracing peace.

This isn’t the first time the singer is lashing out over the way she is treated in a male-dominated industry. Days after her sold out show at the London O2 in August last year, she asked if it was a crime to be a woman.
