After Over 10 Of Trying To Conceive, Lawunmi Onyeoziri Finally Shares Her Joy With The World
For many women, it is their dream to start having babies almost immediately after marriage but when conception is delayed, they begin to worry and panic. No thanks to family members, nosy friends and society, who remind these women that time is not on their side. For this businesswoman, Lawunmi Onyeoziri, who shared her story on her Instagram page, it took 10 years, 7 months and 2 days of waiting to have her baby girl.
Narrating her throes in God’s waiting room, the new mom said she attended many fruitfulness service at her place of worship. She went further to reveal that she had a permanent box she put in her unborn baby girl clothes that she took to church whenever TTC women were asked to bring baby things for prayers.
During her waiting period, Lawunmi, who is married to an Igbo man said she turned deaf ears to naysayers and “this one still dey hope ni” gang in church. But today, Lawunmi can look back and smile at her frustrations and failure over the years as she is now a proud mom.
Read her testimony below…
”When the lord turned again the captivity of Zion they were like them that dreamed.. #psalm126. It still feels like a dream to me when I look at my Ęriaanuoluwa Chizaram. I still ask myself if she is really mine!
When I was packing my baby bag, my domestic staff called my attention to stains in most of the clothes. I told her they were not JUST stains but anointing oil stains. She then said, mummy, we will not wash them o! she will wear them like that.?
Only God can count how many altar calls I have answered. How many fruitfulness service I have attended at @tccvictoryland. I have a permanent box I put in my baby girl stuff (cos I prayed specifically for a baby girl) that I take to church when we are asked to bring baby things for prayers.
I don’t miss any fruitfulness service in church. Year in, year out, I take the items, I come out “shamelessly” and gallantly to the altar.
Bóbó ibo follows suit.. holding my hands. Together, we pray and Rev S.O Olubiyo will lay hands on the baby items and anoint them. We did this every year since Bishop Tochi was 2 hence the stains on the clothes.
I turned deaf ears to naysayers
I turned deaf ears to “this one still dey hope ni” gang in church … #naDemo!!?♀️Today, my baby girl is wearing the clothes with the anointing oil “stains” on them.
