18 Suspected Cases Of Coronavirus Identified In Nigeria – NCDC
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced that a total of 18 suspected cases of coronavirus have been identified so far in Nigeria.
In its fifth national situation report on the virus, the NCDC revealed that there is no new confirmed case of coronavirus in Nigeria. The 18 people identified by the NCDC in Lagos, Ogun, Kano and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as suspected cases, are the latest figure as of yesterday, March 4, 2020.

It was further gathered that 78 people out of the 148 passengers that took same flight with the Italian man confirmed to have the virus, have been interviewed.
The report added;
“The confirmed case is clinically and psychologically stable at the designated treatment facility for COVID-19 at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH), Yaba, Lagos.
“A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level Three, continues to coordinate the national response activities.”
