Lead British School: Student Filmed Bullying Her Classmate Tenders Heartfelt Apology To Victim, Nigerians
The female student of Lead British International School, Abuja, who was seen in viral videos assaulting her schoolmate has tendered an unreserved apology to the victim and Nigerians.
We had earlier reported that a girl named Namtira Bwala was being bullied by her classmates in school.
While the lads nearby were heard laughing and teasing her, the student was observed taking multiple slaps from her classmates in the video.
The video of Maryam assaulting Namsita sparked national outrage after it surfaced online. The school has now been closed for three days during which a detailed investigation will take place.
In a recent video, the young lady simply identified as Maryam sincerely apologized to Nigerians for how she treated her classmate. She declared that she hoped it had never occurred.
In the video she made, Maryam said:
“I am sincerely sorry. I wish this never happened.”
The aunt of the victim who couldn’t control her anger after visiting the school the next day, gave the bully a slap.
“Did you give birth to her?”
the angry aunt charged at the bully.
However, management of Lead British School reacted after the video went viral.
They said they have initiated an investigation and will be working with the perpetrators and their families while providing support for the victim.
