Halle Berry Wins Over Co-parenting Therapy With Ex-Husband Amid Bitter Custody Row
American movie star, Halle Berry has secured a court victory in her lengthy co-parenting therapy battle with ex-husband, Olivier Martinez.
The Monster’s Ball star, 58, has been in an ongoing bitter custody row with ex-husband Olivier, 58, over co-parenting their 11-year-old son, Maceo.
A judge has ruled in her favor regarding a dispute over their co-parenting therapy sessions.
The dispute arose when Berry claimed over the summer that the French actor was trying to take a break from their mandated co-parenting therapy.
Berry asked the court to intervene, requesting that Martinez be required to continue attending the sessions.
She wrote in the court documents:
“I have done everything possible to work with Olivier, to communicate with him, and to engage him in the decision-making process regarding our son [Maceo] in an amicable way.
Olivier has refused to co-parent and communicate with me in a child-centered way; he has been oppositional and unmovable on all major issues relating to Maceo.”

According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, the judge sided with Berry, though it was noted that Martinez had already complied with her request after she brought the matter to court.
This marks a small victory for Berry in the ongoing legal saga between the former couple, who were married from 2013 to 2016.
Their divorce was finalized in August 2023, after eight years of legal proceedings. The pair shares an 11-year-old son, Maceo.

In addition to the co-parenting ruling, the judge also ordered both Berry and Martinez to avoid discussing child custody matters with Maceo or making negative comments about each other, or their current partners, in front of their son.
