Woman, 73, Whose First Marriage At Age 29 Failed Spills On What Made Her Second Marriage Work For 42 Years

Rosalind Umar who had both a failed and a successful marriage, has shared the factors that made all the difference.

The 73-year-old fitness enthusiast got married for the first time at the age of 29. However, the marriage packed up after a short while.

According to Rosalind, the reason for the failure of her first marriage was that they were not suited for each other. She further stated that if her first husband and second husband describe her, it will be like day and night.

She explained:

“It wasn’t because my husband was a bad guy. We were temperamentally unsuited. But I wasn’t looking at the bigger picture. I just wanted to get married.”

In her 30s, she said she met her current husband and she was hesitant because she did not want another failed marriage.

However, she said she gave him a chance and they have now been married for 42 years. With her second husband, she said things just flow.

Thank you jare. She got wiser after the divorce. She did not want to fail twice. She was happy at the second chance. She made more efforts at succeeding. Should we go on? Some younger woman will read this and be finding faults with her man as not flowing.

@Neddington:

I don’t know why people fund it difficult to state things as a matter of fact for the sake of the upcoming youths, she claimed things just flow but learned to patch cracks of course it’s the latter that make things flow which if she had done in her first marriage which she did not do the marriage wouldn’t have crashed. Forget meeting him and knowing he’s the right man….

@RegiNar:

Compatibility matter. The second husband might be more patient than the 1st which made it easier to patch things.

@TayoTee:

There is nothing like the right person, all u did right in the second marriage was what u corrected about yourself (naggng, ego etc). so pls always breakdown things to dis Gen Z people in order not to mislead dem
