Kaffy’s Ex-Husband, Joseph Ameh Reacts As Nigerian Woman Married For 42 Years Unapologetically States She Can Never Be Submissive To A Man

A 73-year-old Nigerian woman, Rosalind Umar, has gone viral after declaring that she would never be submissive in marriage and that she did not raise her daughters to be submissive either.

The fitness enthusiast, who has been married for 42 years, said this while appearing on the Honest Bunch Podcast.

According to her, she can never be submissive to a man, neither her six daughters. She added that she would rather be a single mum than being submissive to a man.

In her words:

“I can never be submissive to a man, neither my six daughters. Submissive? Total bulls***. I’d rather be a single woman, any day, proudly so, I knock my chest.

“Marriage is not visa to heaven. Is your wife a lap dog? If you want an Alsatian dog or a lap dog or a poodle that you’ll say, ‘sit down’…”

Rosalind’s comment as expected angered many Nigerian men. Reacting to the aged woman’s statement, Joseph Ameh, a drummer who was previously married to dance queen, Kaffy wrote:

“Bad character is the new cool… I really thought all elders have sense.”
