Kalybos also dismissed the notion that long-term relationships automatically lead to marriage, stating,

“Being in a relationship for a longer period doesn’t mean you have to settle with the person no matter what.”

Reflecting on his past relationship with a former girlfriend, Frimpomaa, whom he dated for several years, Kalybos revealed that he did not see her as a suitable life partner despite their serious commitment.

Responding to a question by one of the hosts on whether things weren’t going the way he wanted with Frimpongmaa, he answered, “no, it wasn’t.”

“When you assess yourself and something is not going the way you want, then [you walk out],”

he continued.
