A Nigerian mother, Ozinoyi Nene, has schooled single women about being financially independent before going into marriage.
She advise women never to get married without having a job or a source of income that can comfortably take care of their needs.
According to Ozinoyi, it is important to have a source of income before getting married because men cannot be depended on. She went further to give another reason why a woman must have a job or business before getting married.

“Pls sister for the sake of your unborn pikin. Don’t get marry without having any job or business that can comfortably feed your needs. Pls, men can do and undo in marriage. That’s just the bitter truth we Were not well informed about.
And everybody especially in-law expect best out of you even when they know how irresponsible their son is. Get yourself Sense and don’t just give birth full ground.
Financial crisis in marriage is real and always tough to survive in it.”
