Nigerian Couple Shares Their Story Of Triumph As They Welcome 1st Child After ‘Horrifying, Agonizing And Traumatic’ 19 Years Of Marriage
It’s the season of celebration for Nigerian man, Kingsley Onyewuenyi and his wife, Chika, who welcomed their first child after 19 years of waiting.
The couple took to Facebook on Thursday, February 13, 2025, to express their joy and gratitude to God for their long-awaited blessing.
In his post, the super excited new dad shared how they faced insults and mockery at the hands of family members and friends.
According to Mr Onyewuenyi, their waiting period was horrifying, agonizing, suffocating and traumatic but he is grateful to God that it all ended in praise for him and his wife.
He wrote:
“I can’t say all I went through in the hands of Umunna in the last 19 years.
It has been a horrifying, agonizing, suffocating and traumatic 19 years of insult and mockery of an innocent couple who didn’t do any wrong to themselves or the world.
This is the Lord’s doing. Our son Kemdi Princewill Onyewuenyi is here. Our God is great. Thank you Chukwuokikeabiama,”
Chika, on her part, thanked God for wiping away her tears. She wrote:
“El ROI. The God that wiped away my tears and shame, I say thank you. It’s a baby boy. Welcome Kemdi Princewill Onyewuenyi.”
