Stunning New Photos Of Toddler Rescued After Being Branded A Witch And Left To Die In Akwa Ibom

Danish aid worker, Anja Ringgren Loven has shared super cute photos of a toddler who was abandoned by her family and left to die after being branded a witch in Akwa Ibom.

The toddler named Hope, was severely malnourished and in a near-death condition at the time of her rescue in March 2024.

Anja shared the new adorable photos in a Facebook post on Saturday, February 22, 2025, thanking everyone for their support since the rescue.

“I never know what picture to use of baby Hope because they are all good. So here you have all. Happy Sunday from Land of Hope. Thank you all for supporting our work,”

Anja who is married to a Nigerian man wrote in a post on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
