Kenyan Environmentalist Declares Himself A Single Father After CCTV Captured His Wife Doing Something ‘Unimaginable’: ‘I Can’t Stand This Anymore’
A Kenyan environmentalist identified as Arap Kirui has made a bold declaration, announcing that he is now a single father of four after the CCTV camera he installed in his house captured his wife doing something he described as ‘unimaginable’.
His decision to install CCTV cameras in his home and compound, he revealed, led to painful discoveries that left him with deep regret.
In a heartfelt post on Facebook on Monday, February 24, Kirui detailed the sacrifices he has made to ensure his children’s well-being.
The father of four narrated how he took care of his family including timely school fees payments, maintaining a steady food supply, and providing essential household needs such as firewood and water.
However, despite his efforts, he expressed disappointment that his contributions were not enough to maintain harmony within his family.
While he didn’t disclose the nature of the alleged footage, he implied that it had influenced his decision to take sole responsibility for his children.
Kirui said he has begged his children to accept him as their only parent. He wrote:
“According to what we have been through as a family, I now declare myself a single father of four. I have been through difficult situations and times, I have been paying school fees on time, we have enough foods in our gallery, I provide fire wood, water, and shopping at the right time, but it wasn’t enough to My mother to My children.
I placed CCTV in my compound and house, and I regretted why I did it, because footage is unimaginable. I beg My children to cooperate with the unplanned situation and accept me as the only parent, since I can’t stand these anymore.

Meanwhile, Kenyans have taken to the comment section to sympathise with him over the situation.
While some advised him to forgive and pray for his wife as ‘women are naturally polygamous’, others advised him against ending his marriage because ‘it rains everywhere’.
