Nigerian Pharmacist Reveals Moment She Realized She Could Never Marry The Man She Was Dating

A Nigerian pharmacist, Emem, has recounted an incident that made her realise she could never marry the man she was in a relationship with.

She shared her story on X in response to a question. The question reads:

“Girl to Girl: Tell us when you realized you can never marry him.”

Emem responded sharing how her man was trying to drive ahead of a governor’s convoy, and when soldiers pointed guns at them, he dared them to shoot while she was seated beside him.

“When he was dragging road with governor’s convoy and the soldiers pointed guns at us yet he was shouting “I dare you to shoot” with me beside him. I was shouting “don’t shoot o. Please don’t listen to him, Jesus oo” while he kept saying “shoot if dem born you well,”

she wrote.
