She’s Recovering Fast! Check Out New Photos of Baby Khadijah who was Raped at Age 6 Months in Kano
You will recall that little Khadijah Bashir was allegedly raped by her mother’s female friend and her husband when she was only 6 months old, and was seriously injured to the extent that she had to undergo surgery (read here).
It’s great to know that Khadijah, who is now 8-months-old, had a successful surgery.
According to reports, she is currently receiving medical attention at Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, Kano and looks good and healthy as shown in these new photos.
The exciting news is that she is doing great and has gained some weight as she weighs 6kg now.
Currently, the case against her rapist is in the Kano high court and the culprit has hired 10 lawyers to defend him.
We wish her a speedy recovery!
