BREAKING: FG Makes ASUU An Offer To End Ongoing Strike
The federal government has offered the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) N65bn to resolve the ongoing strike which has lasted for 10 months. Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige made the proposal on behalf of the government to the striking lecturers when they met in Abuja on Friday, November 20.
He said the negotiation was fruitful as the government has decided to shift grounds on the lingering issues that have kept students out of the classroom for several months.
