Meet Mum Who Sleeps With Her Two Sons Aged 9 And 10
Julie and Gary are parents to nine-year-old Kai and ten-year-old Brayden.
What is unusual about this British family is that Julie has been co-sleeping with her sons since they were born, leaving dad Gary to sleep in their room. The boys initially slept in cots with the railings down next to the couple’s bed so Julie could easily comfort and feed them through the night and there was no risk of suffocation.
When each of the boys turned 16 months, Julie and Gary unsuccessfully tried moving their cots into the second bedroom of their home in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
As soon as Brayden started school Julie and Gary bought them single beds, but they didn’t like those either. And new bunk beds brought last year failed to convince the boys to leave their mum at night.
Julie said: “People don’t believe us but Gary really doesn’t mind. He never has. His stance is that the father’s job is to keep the wife and kids happy.
“If anything it has made us stronger. I admire how he puts his sons’ needs first.
“We have flexible schedules and make time for sex when the boys are at school, staying over at my mum’s or out with friends.
“We’ve been together for more than 20 years so we’ve had plenty of time for romance. In a couple of years we’ll back to sleeping in the same bed for a long time to come.”
She says they have tried to get the boys to sleep on their own in the past.
“It was always the same – it worked for a night or two and then they’d be pleading to be back with me. We couldn’t say no.
“As parents, we felt it was important to make sure our sons felt safe and were getting the rest they needed.”
Part of the couple’s protective ways stem from Julie’s difficulty conceiving and the loss of a baby son.
She said: “I spent my entire 20s trying to get pregnant.
“We went through two courses of failed IVF before I fell pregnant naturally. But our first son died at just a day old. Amazingly, I got pregnant again. After everything we’d been through Gary and I vowed we’d be the best parents possible.
Whatever rocks her boat but do you think this is a good idea?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm
I think it’s a bad bad idea. Those kids are old enough to sleep in their own room.
They are too old to sleep
With their mum but if it
Works for them then why not
Message.. So far de re nt hvin s*x in deir presence to me its nt a big deal. The caption though lols if sm1 hvnt open de link de person might tink *de mother who sleeps wt her son means de mother is hvin sex wt de boys lolz
It’s their life, I don’t see anything wrong with that. A lot of parents in Africa do that too, the mum & kids have separate room while the dad has hid own too while the mum can sleep in nights she wanted
It paid off for them,at least twas a agreement btw the parents.
Its kinda cool judging from the experience. Parental love on the display
It’s not a bad idea, if it works for them why not.
For me l think those kids need 2 be taught how 2 be independent n watch out 4 each other. That cant be taught wen they are still sleeping with mum.Its not 4 their good
What a relief. When I read the caption “……..who sleeps with…….” something else came to my mind oooh, hhhmmm. Am I the only one? Am I that corrupt?
They should be in their own rooms
if it suits dem den y not…
Nope not a good idea at 9 I was in jss 1 in boarding school .kids should be taught independence on time
As you said, whatever rocks her boat
Those dudes should forward match to their rooms and be allowed to grow up. You need an alone time with your man.
I think they are very big enough to sleep alone.
Hmmm not cool at all
