Congratulations Pour In As Toke Makinwa Reportedly Ties The Knot | Photos

The internet has been flooded with photos of media personality, Toke Makinwa and a man, in what looks like an engagement ceremony with many of Toke’s family and friends in attendance.

It is gathered that Toke allegedly got married to her supposed longtime lover, Farouk who’s an ex to actress, Sharon Ooja.

In the photos, Toke who divorced her ex-husband some years ago, could be seen wearing a white fitted dress, paired with a fascinator, while the alleged husband wore a traditional white ‘Agbada’, complete with a white cap.

The event seemed to be close knit, but the decoration was simply splendid, with the guests dressed to the nines.

As friends, well wishers, and fans online began to congratulate the media girl, there was soon confusion as to whether the ceremony was real or just a joke between friends.

Actress and DJ, Ms. Dsf, who was one of the first people to share the ‘engagement photos’ later said she was joking, and that it wasn’t an engagement ceremony but Toke’s 40th birthday Thanksgiving.

Regardless, looks like the duo are in a relationship. Although, the duo are yet to make any posts to the effect, netizens have however sent in their congratulations.

Recall that Toks got married to fitness expert, Maje Ayida in 2014, but the marriage was dissolved in 2017 after discovering that he was cheating on her with another woman and even impregnated her.
