Idibias Divorce Saga: ‘Tuface Shouldn’t Go Scot-free’ -TV Host, Morayo Brown

The Managing Director of TVC Entertainment Channel and host of the ‘Your View’ program, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, has shared her thoughts on the ongoing divorce scandal between singer 2Face Idibia and his estranged wife, Annie.

Some days ago, Tuface announced separation from Annie, his wife of almost 12 years.

Few days after the shocking announcement, in a viral video, he confirmed his relationship with his new lover, Natasha Osawaru, the deputy majority leader of the Edo State House of Assembly.

He further announced his plan to marry her and this morning, a video of him giving an engagement ring to Natasha hit the internet.

Reacting to the controversy sparked by the news, Morayo, during the ‘Your View’ program stated that the singer should not go scot-free for the damage caused by his divorce decision.

She opined that the musician had led Annie on, and they had gotten married and stayed married only for him to leave her.

The media personality added that he damaged her and shouldn’t be allowed to go scot free.

Morayo further asserted that it could have been societal pressure that had caused him to stay in marriage with Annie.

While questioning the point at which he fell out of love with Annie, Morayo said,

“I think he should not go scot-free for what he has done. I think he has probably damaged this woman (Annie).

“Maybe it is societal pressure that has caused him to stay with this young woman. Maybe, for whatever reason, he needs to tell us because society was there when they were getting married. At what point did you say you are no longer with Annie?”

she asked.
