Heart-warming Moment Baby Miraculously Wakes Up From Coma As Doctors Prepare To Turn Off Life-support Machine

In an amazing turn around, the miraculous moment a baby woke up from coma as doctors were ready to turn off her life support machine has been caught on camera.

One-year-old little Marwa, was struck by a brain-damaging virus in September that led to doctors insisting she be allowed to die. She had been placed in an induced coma ever since as work was done to try and prevent any further neurological disorders.

But medics in France eventually told Marwa’s Algerian parents there was little more they could do after bouts of “aggressive therapy” failed to make a difference, according to Mirror.

The parents campaigned against this decision, launching a Facebook appeal titled ‘Jamais Sans Marwa’ (Never Without Marwa) to raise money to take the case to court. With over 70,000 signatures, the court ruled in favour of an “extension of care” at La Timone hopsital, Marseille, France for two months.

Despite the parents protests, doctors were insistent that they would fight to turn off the respirator sooner, arguing that she will never walk, eat, or breathe independently.

But just ten days after the decision was granted Marwa, miraculously woke up.

According to the footage shared by Marwa’s dad on Facebook, the baby react to his voice and even smile.

“Her treatment continues, but we see daily progress, and it gives us great hope. When I talk to her, she hears my voice, she reacts, sometimes she smiles,” he told a local news site.
