Watch: ”If you get your wife through Facebook, you’ll lose her through Youtube” – Pastor Adeboye Tells Single Men
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye, yesterday in his sermon at the Church’s headquarters, Redemption Camp, told his members they shouldn’t marry any woman they meet on social media, but should opt for the one arranged by God.
According to him, men who get their wives through Facebook would lose them through Youtube.
It will be recalled that last year, the clergyman made a controversial statement advising the youths in his congregation (read here) not to marry a woman who is lazy, cannot cook and pray for up to one hour.
His message, however, was followed with a lot of criticisms from users of social media.
In response to his critics, the man of God took to his official Facebook page, to state: ”My messages are not for everybody. So I plead with you, ask God to speak to you specifically.”
