Ex Wife Of Saudi King Cries To Obama For Help On Behalf Of Her Daughters
When things were still rosy, King Abdullah, AlFayez and her daughters
There’s nothing as heartbroken to hear as a mother’s cry for help.
Mum of four and former wife to the King of Saudi Arabia, Alanoud AlFayez, 57 makes a heartfelt appeal to the president of the United States in a bid to secure the freedom of her four daughters. She says that her daughters have been held against their will at the royal palace in Saudi Arabia for 13 years.
Speaking to AFP, Alfayez who lives in London since her divorce from the Arabian King says,
‘Since 13 years, my daughters Sahar, Maha, Hala and Jawaher are being held captive. They need to be saved and released immediately.’ She added that her daughters treatment by the King has worsened as they have been completely stopped from going outside to buy food for themselves and their pets.
The pretty mother has also written to the UN’s Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights explaining that her daughters are ‘imprisoned, held against their will, cut off from the world’.
AlFayez fled Saudi Arabia after Abdullah divorced her in 2003 and has lived in London since. She was just 15 when she had her four daughters
In an email sent to the Sunday Times, 2 of the four daughters, Sahar and Jawaher said they were being confined in a house to fend for themselves and without a maid. They said,
‘We have no passports or ID, we are under house arrest, with little food left for ourselves and pets. On their orders, they have been literally starving us since last Wednesday. We are now living on one meal a day, leaving the little remaining meat for our pets and sipping little water in this heat, to save up. Our energy is quite low and we are trying our best to survive.’
