See How This Woman Reversed Her Infertility To Become A Mum-of-two

A primary school teacher, Kelly Hogan, who had been trying to conceive to no avail for over two years was reportedly able to reverse her infertility after losing weight by sticking to a 2,500 calorie per-day, 98% beef diet. She also stopped over-exercising.

Her periods had completely stopped and even taking the fertility hormone Clomid had not solved her problems until five-years ago when she cut out all carbs, sugars and vegetables and instead dedicated her diet to beef, water and the occasional portion of scrambled eggs.

From a weight of around 18 stone Kelly dropped to just nine, losing the first five in just 12 months.

After giving up hormone therapy Kelly’s periods returned and she is now the proud mother of Julia, 4, and Thomas, 2.

“My doctor still says that it’s a miracle,” said 36-year-old Kelly. “I’ve regained my fertility and have gone on to have two children and no problem keeping weight off. My doctor said that my hypothalamus gland was the reason that I had not ovulated for those two years. She said those issues are not usually reversed. I told her that I was eating an all-meat, high fat diet and she was aware that such a diet is used around the world to treat fertility issues and was supportive. Even the specialist fertility doctor I was referred to, said that my menstrual cycle would probably never return and I would need help conceiving all future children. However, my periods returned and I was able to immediately get pregnant. My menstrual cycles have been regular ever since without any assistance. Finding out I was pregnant were the greatest moments of my life. I have always wanted to be a mother. It was amazing.”
