How Man Tried To Sell 3-Year-Old Girl In Taraba
A 51-year-old man has been arrested by the Taraba State Police Command for allegedly kidnapping a three-year-old girl.
Leadership reports:
Briefing journalists in Jalingo, the acting commissioner of police in the state, Mr. Bello Ahmad said that the suspect, Dalibi Tanko, was arrested by a team of policemen at Mallam Abba ward, Mutun Buyi, while he was trying to sell the girl to one Uba Idris Shagarda of Jantaro village. “Though nobody knows where he took the little girl from, information only got to us that a man was looking for someone to buy a three-year-old girl from him,” he said.
According to him, when the suspect was interrogated, he confessed he kidnapped the girl from one Mallam Babaji of Mallam Abba ward, Mutun-Biyu.
