Nigerian celebrities have become more vocal in lending their voices to kick against the prevalent evil of domestic violence in the society; as more people become aware of the trend of evil conduct targeted at children and women, particularly the scourge of rape and domestic violence.
Recently Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus took to her twitter handle to say ‘No’ to domestic violence. The mother of two said in a post that has gathered over 2,000 likes that,
‘African mothers stop telling your daughters that because it happened to you, it’s okay for it to happen to them’ adding that ‘no man has a right to hit any woman.’
