FAMILY RECIPE: Mini Cheesy Bread

Hey, mums! It’s always exciting when I bake with my kids. Have fun with your kids baking this favourite this weekend. It’s called the mini cheesy bread and it’s perfect when combined with vegetable soups.
You’ll need the following ingredients….
4 dl flour
1 tbsp baking powder
3 tsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
75 g butter
2 dl milk
Some shredded cheese
Raisins or dried fruits of choice (optional)
Topping:
(Butter, shredded garlic, chopped fresh parsley)

How to prepare
Preheat oven 175°C.
Mix all dry ingredients (sugar, flour, salt, cinamon, soda) in a bowl. Add butter and mix into a sandy texture. Add raisins if you want it sweet, otherwise, add the milk at this point and mix everything together evenly. Add cheese and carefully mix it together, using your hand – ensure the cheese does not get mushed up as you mix.
Mold the dough into a ball and flatten it out with a rolling pin into about an inch thick.
With a cookie cutter, cut your bread out into desired shape and bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Serve warm with vegetable soup.
Topping:
Melt some butter on a medium heat, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in parsley and stir. Serve with bread.
