It’s a Miracle! Baby Rescued From Rubble After An Earthquake Hits Japan
An 8-month-old baby girl has been pulled out alive by fire men and rescuers from the rubble of a house after a deadly earthquake in Japan.
According to Dailymail, the baby’s mother, grandmother, and older brother were also in the house while she was asleep in the room on the first floor; when the quake shook the southern Island of Kyushu.
The family members, who all managed to escape, tried to rescue the baby but the rubble prevented them from doing so.
Reportedly, it took a 50-member rescue team to pull the baby out to safety from the rubble around 3.45 am on Friday. The eight-month-old girl was soon carried to safety after being rescued.
It has been reported that at least 9 people have been killed and around 800 others were injured in the powerful quake which hit about 9:26 pm (local time) on Thursday.
Some 40,000 people are said to have fled their homes when the quake struck and have spent the night outside. One of the towns most badly affected is Mashiki, situated close to the Epicenter, where fires erupted shortly after the quake hit, destroying many of its traditional wooden buildings.
Wow! This is nothing short of a miracle. Thank God for the baby’s life.
