DINNER RECIPE: One Pot Soup

Here’s one of my healthy and low calorie family dinner recipe. It’s very filling, easy to prepare, and as usual, very yummy. Try it out this weekend.
You’ll need
2 dl brown rice
1 large fresh red paprika (chopped)
1 dl asparigus (chopped)
200 g canned chicken peas
1 large onion (chopped)
Sausage (cut into bits)
350 g smoked ham (cut into bits)
150 g canned yellow corn
2 dl green peas
3 tbsp tomato paste
3 medium tomatoes (chopped)
All purpose seasoning
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
2-3 cups water

How to prepare
*Place all ingredients in a deep saucepan, pour in the water and stir.
*Place on medium heat and cover to cook for 40 minutes.
*Serve warm.
NOTE: You can use smoked fish or any meat of choice as well.
