Photos: How Three Toddlers Escaped from Home & Wandered the Streets of China
According to ECNS, a police officer found and sent three barefoot toddlers back home after they were found wandering around a backstreet in the eastern Chinese city of Jiande.
The officer identified as Chen, spotted the three toddlers standing in an alley while he was having his breakfast on Monday morning, June 14, 2016. After noticing that they were on their own without a parent around, Chen took them to the nearby police station.
Looking for a way to find the parents of the three kids, the male police officers at the station divided themselves into three groups and took care of the babies, bought milk and clothes, and later went to look for their parents.
Luckily for them, the children’s mother came looking for them hours later. She said that her kids walked out accidentally because her husband forgot to close the door on his way to work.
When she woke up and found her babies were gone, she immediately rushed out, and that’s when she was told by the neighbors the whereabouts of her children.
It turned out that the three toddlers finished a long journey in their hour-long absence from home, including a narrow lane, stairs, and a platform.
