Huma Mobin, a new bride from Lahore, Pakistan, went on honeymoon without her groom after he was denied a visa to their honeymoon destination.

According to Mirror, Mobin got married to her husband, Arsalaan Sever Butt, seven months ago and the couple went on a first honeymoon without encountering any visa issues.

They then made plans last month to visit Greece for their second honeymoon, but the groom was not granted a visa in time for the trip.

Sources say Mobin did not want to go on the trip without her husband, but when she realised that the money they had paid for it was non-refundable, she travelled to Greece, where she spent ten days without her husband.

“I cried the first night on my mother-in-law’s shoulder, but she told me to make the best of it,” said Mobin, whose parents-in-law accompanied to Greece.

The young woman, who works as a creative manager at an advertising agency, made the best of her situation and took some good-humoured photos showing how much she missed her groom.

She posed with one arm outstretched, like she was holding her invisible husband, in front of beautiful locations. The new bride then posted the photos on Facebook, with the caption, “I went to Greece without my husband and I missed him very much.”

The photos received quite a number of likes and comments, with a Facebook user saying, “Huma you are hilarious!! This album is AWESOME!!”
