Ex-Militant Leader, Asari Dokubo, Loses First Wife In Car Crash

Zainab Asari Dokubo, the first wife of ex-militant leader and founder of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Mujahid Asari Dokubo, is dead.
According to Vanguard, in a statement released by Alhaji Ishaq Kunle Sanni, the chairman Oyo state Muslim community, Alhaja Zainab Asari Dokubo, passed away yesterday alongside a friend in a car accident on her way to Ibadan.
Reports also revealed that the deceased who was already a Muslim before she married Dokubo, lived in Ibadan, but relocated to Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa, when she was appointed Secretary of the Muslims Pilgrims Board.
She is survived by four children Amirah, Hassan, Hussain and Osama.
