“My Wife Belongs To My Kitchen”: Nigerians React To President Buhari Demeaning Statement About His Wife
After Aisha Buhari‘s controversial BBC Hausa interview, the President Muhammadu Buhari, while speaking at a conference yesterday in Berlin, Germany, openely demeaned his wife, saying she belongs to his kitchen, living room and other room.
In reaction to Mr president’s statement, many Nigerians are expressing their views on the matter.
TV personality/entrepreneur Stephanie Coker, took to her Instagram page and posted the message below:
Former president Goodluck Jonathan’s aide and proud father of three, Reno Omokri, also shades the president with a photo of him kissing his wife and captioned:
The former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani Kayode, FFK took to his Facebook to also comment on the matter.
Senator Ben Bruce threw epic shade at the President, with his wife’s photo, telling his followers where she belongs.
In addition, Nigerian journalist and social media critic Jaafar Jaafar posted various photos of Aisha Buhari on the campaign trail before the 2015 election. He titled the post: “Dear Mr. President, This is to draw your attention that these pictures were not taken in “the other room”
