Singer Michael Bublé’s 3-Year-Old Son, Noah, Starts Chemotherapy For Liver Cancer

Canadian singer, Micheal Buble’s three-year-old son, Noah, who is suffering from liver cancer has already started chemotherapy.

The devastated singer and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, had previously revealed their son had been diagnosed with cancer (read here) in a lengthy and emotional statement via Facebook.

According to Mirror, Noah was reportedly diagnosed on November 1 after medics carried out a liver biopsy,  following an examination at a clinic in Buenos Aires.

 

The little warrior is also said to have started chemotherapy which is going to last four months, Argentinian magazine Gente said. And doctors say the youngster has a 90% chance of surviving the disease after proper treatment.

Luisana’s sister Daniela told the mag:

”Cancer is a horrible illness but we have faith in Noah being able to overcome this. We know he will. The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come but it’s got to be done.

They say children are normally strong to put up with chemotherapy and my nephew is a warrior. He has the innocence of children and that is good. He doesn’t understand too much what is happening. The love people are showing is helping us to see things with optimism and we have a lot of faith.”

Detailing the events leading up to Noah’s cancer diagnosis, Gente says Luisana took Noah to be checked out after he ran a high fever.

Doctors are said to have narrowed it down to two possibilities, a throat infection or mononucleosis, ruling out mumps. Doctors eventually tested him, even doing an abdominal ultrasound, and after a throat swab, they confirmed he had a throat infection.

However, the ultrasound allegedly detected a liver problem – with doctors telling Luisana:

”It’s probably benign but we have to continue with the tests.”

Michael then asked his wife to fly back to LA to join him and get a second opinion, and Luisana’s sister told Gente:

”It was there they discovered something wasn’t right. We have very good specialists [in Argentina], but for personal and family reasons, Michael and my sister decided to fly to the States.”

It was also gathered that the toddler may need to have surgery after his chemo.
