Family In Turmoil As Seven-Year-Old Remains Missing
Toheeb Aremu, who resides at the Akowonjo area of Lagos, went misising from his home on Monday the 7th of Novemeber after returning from a trip with his grandmother. Three weeks after, there has been no trace of the boy, causing the already present fear in the family to grow and increase.
Punch Metro gathered that the boy’s grandmother, Mrs. Grace Felix, said she was heading back from a visit to a relative with him and his elder brother, when she put them on a commercial motorcycle ahead of her.
“I followed them on another motorcycle but by the time I got home, nobody, including Toheeb’s brother, could account for where he was, even though the okada rider who carried them both indeed dropped them at home,” she said.
The victim is said to suffer from speech problems and cannot talk, even though he is not deaf. The boy’s family said that they had notified all the police divisions around Akowonjo but are pleading with members of the public for information that could help locate the boy. Anyone with any relevant information is urged to please contact the Esther Child Rights Foundation on 08101508605.
This can be very devastating. Oh Lord, please keep this boy safe and sound for the sake of his family. Amen. I pray they find him.
I pray he is found safely
Lord please come to the rescue
I pray for his safety and for him to be united with his family
may he be found o
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Good morning. I am SABO police station about yoreport a boy I found on the street last night. I had compassion on him and helped him out. I posted his picture to my groups in case he was missing. Someone sent me this link and the description fits Toheeb totally. This boy also says his name is Toheeb. I have tried the number on this link so many times but no one is picking up. I hope the police will be able to get him reunited with his family
We have wonderful news. My wife and I found the boy yesterday at Iwaya Road, Onike, Yaba. We didn’t know he was missing but we knew he was obviously in some distress. So, we made enquiries around and found that he came to the area a few days prior. He was in bad shape, hungry and in need of a good scrub down. So, we took him home, cleaned him up fed him and changed his clothes. What we then did was to post his picture on a few of our whatsup platforms. Bingo. Someone called us to inform that he recalls a publication of a missing boy. She then sent the details of the publication and the picture. Lo and behold, it was him Toheeb Aremu. My wife and I are presently at the Police Station at Akowonjo where he was first reported missing. To God be the glory. Hopefully, he will soon be reunited with his family.
We can report that the boy has been reunited with his family. To God be the glory. For using my wife and I to bring joy to this family in their hour of despair. For those that are wondering, Oyin is my wife.
thank God
