Crèche Owner Arrested for Allegedly Breaking Toddler’s Leg
A crèche owner Oluwasanmi Oluwakemi, has been arrested for allegedly beating and breaking a 2 year old pupil’s leg.
Oluwakemi, who resides in Mile 12, Lagos, allegedly committed the offence at ‘Mum Isaiah Day care and Crèche’. The Prosecutor Clifford Ogu, while speaking with NAN, said:
“It was when the victim’s mother, Mrs Concalves, came to carry her son that it was discovered that the boy could not walk again. The victim’s mother also saw scars on her son’s back which connoted that he was beaten”
The toddler had to undergo an X-ray which revealed he suffered a bone fracture.
The accused pleaded not guilty, and the Chief Magistrate, Taiwo Akanni, granted bail in the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
The case has been adjourned till February 22.
